Introduction to Qigong: The Alchemy of Energy and Movement

This workshop offers an accessible introduction to Qigong, a traditional Chinese system of movement and meditation designed to harmonize mind, body, and breath. Rooted in Daoist philosophy, Qigong uses slow, intentional movements, gentle postures, and focused attention to cultivate Qi — the vital life energy that supports health, clarity, and longevity.

In this experiential session, participants will explore foundational Qigong practices that promote relaxation, flexibility, and internal balance. Rather than emphasizing complex forms or physical performance, the workshop focuses on subtle coordination, nervous system regulation, and embodied awareness. Qigong can be understood as both a movement practice and a form of meditation — one that supports neuroplasticity, stress reduction, and a deeper connection to the rhythms of the body and nature.

This workshop is suitable for all levels, including complete beginners. No prior experience with Tai Chi or Qigong is necessary. Participants will leave with simple tools they can integrate into daily life to support vitality, emotional balance, and overall well-being.
