Estes Park Yoga

Kathryn

My yoga practice began in 2018, when my mom took me to a class at a local studio hoping it would give me some tools to manage my stress. At the time, I didn't quite know why yoga made me feel the way it did, but I continued attending classes because of the sense of peace and belonging I felt on my mat. Today, my yoga practice offers me the space and tools to get to know myself better with each time I practice.

Yoga provides us with a unique opportunity to look inwards in the absence of external judgment, and to be soft with ourselves while challenging ourselves at the same time. Upon the completion of my 200-hour yoga teacher training at Bellingham Yoga Collective in 2021, I fell in love with creative sequencing and the subtle attention to energetics, alignment, and anatomy that goes into creating new sequences to share with others. In my classes, I hope to provide powerful and grounding sequences that offer students space to listen deeply and cultivate whatever it is that they may be needing. Off the mat, you can find me outside hiking, mountaineering, and jumping in all the chilliest alpine lakes.
